The Ghana Investments Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) on June 12,2026, received a delegation from the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations on an institutional study visit focused on strengthening collaboration and gaining a deeper understanding of GIFEC’s operations, programmes, and digital inclusion efforts.

The engagement was led by the Director of Operations, Mr. Osman Zacharia Yahaya, who presented insights into GIFEC’s mandate, strategic priorities, and its role in advancing Ghana’s digital transformation agenda

Also in attendance were the Director of Human Resource and Administration, Ms. Rebecca Torshie Ashare, together with her deputy, Dr. Abdulai Bonchel Duut, who also serves as Head of Sustainability, Diversity and Accessibility (SDA).

Unit Heads across GIFEC made presentations outlining the achievements of their respective departments, ongoing projects, and future strategic plans.

The visit created a platform for knowledge exchange and dialogue, while highlighting GIFEC’s continued work in expanding digital access, reducing the digital divide, and promoting inclusive connectivity nationwide in support of Ghana’s broader digital transformation objectives
