Mr. Henry Agyeman Boateng is a professional chartered accountant currently working with the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC) as the Principal Finance Manager tasked with the responsibility of keeping proper books of account. Mr. Boateng holds Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Cape Coast and Executive Masters in Business Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Ghana, Legon. He is a Chartered Manager and member of the Chartered Management Institute, UK. He is also a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICA), Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and member of Institute of Directors (MID). Mr. Boateng is a council member of Institute of Directors of Ghana of which he is the chairman of the Finance and Administration subcommittee and a member of ACCA Ghana Panel Network. Prior to joining GIFEC in January 2006, Mr. Boateng was the Municipal Senior Accountant at the Sunyani Municipal Assembly for the period 2000 to 2005 having been posted from the Sunyani Regional Treasury as an Accountant. Mr. Boateng has received extensive training both locally and abroad. Mr. Kow Sessah Acquaye is the Head of Legal at the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC). Mr. Acquaye, the first Head of Legal for the Fund is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He holds a Masters in Law (LLM) degree in International Business Law from the Coventry University, United Kingdom. The former Head of Legal and Public Affairs at the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), also holds the Barrister- at- Law Certificate (BL) from the Ghana School of Law and a post – first Degree Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB) from the University of Ghana, Legon. Mr. Acquaye who is charged with the responsibility of providing legal services to aid the Fund in the attainment of its mandate also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in English (with Honours) from the University of Ghana, Legon. Between 2004 and 2009, he was a Coordinator of the Policy Analysis Unit at the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA), and also worked as the Head of Talk Show at Joy FM, Media and Events Manager, Constitution Review Commission, Associate Counsel, Oasis Law Consult. Mr. Acquaye who is a member of the Ghana Bar Association as well as the AG Department’s representative on the board of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO), was the Special Assistant to the Attorney General and Minister of Justice between 2013 and 2014, as well as the Media/ Legal Consultant for Ipas, Ghana and the IEA. The former assistant Lecturer, English Department, University of Ghana between 2001 and 2003, is a State Attorney, at the Attorney’s General department of Ghana.



Mr. Philip Prempeh is the Senior Administrative Manager and Head of the Administration Department of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications, (GIFEC).

Mr. Prempeh holds Executive Masters in Business Administration Degree in Strategic Management from the Paris Graduate School of Management and Diploma in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ). He also holds Post Graduate Certificates in Public Administration, and NGO Management from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He was also an accredited member of the Institute of the Public Relations Ghana (IPR).

Mr. Prempeh has received extensive training both locally and abroad. They include the following:

Mr. Emmanuel Adjei- Ampofo is the head of the procurement unit at GIFEC, He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Procurement and Supply of United Kingdom (MCIPS). He Holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in Procurement and Logistics from the University of Salford, United Kingdom, Diploma in International Trade from Worldwide Trade Institute United Kingdom.

EXPERIENCE: Has over 15 years’ experience in the Supply Chain Profession, both locally and abroad. Has attended several training courses in Procurement and Logistics, including Public Service Procurement, World Bank Procurement for Goods, Works and Consultant Services both home and Abroad.
